What is Eat Better South Africa Community Coach Program:

In 2016 Eat Better South Africa community coach programme was founded, providing an opportunity to collectively utilize the impact of our work and passions for the good of all who take part or wish to participate in our programme and to empower local community members through nutritional education programs via a network of community health coaches.

We have had the honour and privilege to work with inspiring community members who are not only changing their own lives but who are passionate about changing their families’ lives and their communities at large. our community coaches are:

Passionate about community building, self-confidence, and enthusiastic about nutrition and overall health, particularly the direct link between health and food.
Grassroot innovator: Seeking to clarify and find sustainable nutritional solutions that respond to the local situation and the interests and values of the communities involved.
Go-getter: willing or likely to take practical action in making positive changes and be part of the solution.
Community Builder: Looking to create a comfortable, and safe environment within your community for health and nutritional education conversation.
Cheerleader: exhibit patience, recognize and value collaboration and shared upliftment.
Open-minded: Understands that being a part of a team is being open to other people's ideas and perspectives. Receptive to feedback from group members.

Our work in serving communities is focused on changing and bettering lifestyles through nutritional education, and by generating an understanding of how eating habits, and the consumption of certain products, play a role in our quality of life and future health.
